I Believe….

By Laura Nelson

We all know the FFA Creed.  For many it was the beginning of a great public speaking career.  The creed establishes the meanings of our great organization, and guides us to know what we can expect from the FFA.  So what does being a camper at the State FFA Leadership Camp mean?  What can we expect from it?  A few campers, councilors, and guests shared what they thought would be included in the “camp creed”.

“I believe that learning should be fun.  It is a great place to go and make friends, memories, gain leadership, and most of all have fun.” - Dr. Al  Synder

“I believe that being yourself is the most important thing in life.” - Joslyn Ratcliff

“I believe in working smarter, not harder, and enjoying all that life has to offer.” - Susan Schilt

“I believe that true success stems from true happiness.” - State 3rd Vice President, Alicia Randall

“I believe in being happy with myself.” - Christina Bunker
