Board Meeting Minutes: 08/19/2006

Meeting Started at 11:15 AM (Douglas, State Fair)

Present Board Members: Tim Dryden, Tyler Reed, Lisa Heinert, J.J. Powell, Shannon Blackmore

Guests: Teresa Cole, Dan Cannon, Seth Heinert

Missing: Al Snyder

Shannon moved to accept the minutes as read. The motions was seconded by JJ Powell and it passed. 

The board still needs to try and obtain the rural rehab money ($2000.00) for this year.

Dan gave a brief report about the 2006 camp.  For the most part it was a very successful camp; there were no injuries, so no need for a nurse this year or possibly in the future.

Teresa Cole, from the state association, gave a brief report on the state officers.  She said they had great things to say about their experience at camp. 

For camp 2007, 2 sessions versus 1 session was discussed.

Tyler needs to send out the Assoc. Director’s Applications, and give them 15 days to get them back to him.  He will then send them out to the board.

Shannon moved to develop a committee of 3 to 7 board members to reexamine the board of directors and the bylaws.  It was seconded by Lisa Heinert and the motion passed.  The committee is Lisa, Tyler, and Shannon.

A Conference Call was scheduled for Tuesday September 5^th, 7:30 PM.  Items on the agenda will be:

-         Selection of Assoc. Directors

-         Vote on Board Members

A Board Meeting was scheduled in Casper at 11:00 AM, September 30^th.  No location known yet.  Items on the agenda will be:

-         Vote on new Board Members

-         Vote on Board Officers
